ESI Iron Flow Battery Facility — Maryborough
IDC Construct was selected by the Queensland Government as lead contractor for Australia’s first grid-scale iron flow battery facility, delivered for ESI in Maryborough. IDC Construct delivered the 30,000 sqm Hyundai Rotem Manufacturing Facility supporting the Queensland Train Manufacturing Program. Headline figures: 2,400 tonnes of structural steel, 20,000+ cubic metres of concrete, and 11 × 10-tonne overhead gantry cranes. Recognised by Master Builders Queensland with the Wide Bay Burnett Housing & Construction Award.
Natrium Coral Cove Clubhouse — $320M Development
IDC Construct was awarded the head-contractor role on the Natrium Coral Cove Clubhouse, a flagship facility within the wider $320M Coral Cove development by Vivacity Property. Bundaberg Mayor Helen Blackburn publicly welcomed the contract award alongside Director Kailen Berthelsen.
Australia’s Largest Freeze-Dried Produce Facility
IDC Construct delivered Australia’s largest freeze-dried produce facility, a purpose-built food processing plant supporting the regional agri-food export economy.

The development includes a dedicated wash-down bay, fully equipped workshop, spray-painting services and comprehensive administration offices, designed to support the growing logistics and transport needs of the Fraser Coast region and the wider Australian east coast.
